How to Create an AI Influencer: A Step-by-Step Guide

AInfluencer Lab · · 5 min read

An AI influencer is a fictional character with a consistent face, style and voice who posts like a real creator. You do not need a camera, a studio or your own face. You need a clear character, a repeatable way to produce content, and the discipline to post. This guide walks through the whole process in order.

Decide who she is before you generate anything

Most failed AI accounts start with pretty pictures and no character. Write down the basics first: her name, age range, city, what she does, and the one niche she posts about. Fashion, fitness, travel, beauty, food, tech and café culture are popular choices, but pick one. A feed about everything reads as a feed about nothing.

Then choose a visual signature: a hairstyle, a colour palette, two or three kinds of locations. These are the details people recognise when they scroll.

Create the base image

Generate your character in an image tool such as Midjourney, Flux, Leonardo or Higgsfield until you have one portrait you are happy with. This becomes your reference image, and everything else is built from it. Save it in high resolution and do not swap it for another one later; changing the reference is how characters drift.

Keep her consistent

Consistency is what separates an AI influencer from a folder of random AI portraits. Attach the reference image every time you generate, and use prompts that describe the scene, the outfit, the pose and the lighting, but not her face. If the prompt says "blue eyes" and the reference has green eyes, the tool has to pick one, and you get a different person.

We cover this in detail in how to keep an AI character consistent.

Build a content bank

Posting daily from scratch burns people out within weeks. Produce in batches instead: plan thirty scenes, generate them over a weekend, and schedule them. A prompt library helps because the thinking is already done; you choose a scene rather than invent one.

Our AI Influencer Starter Kit has 5,000 scenes across seven niches written this way.

Add video

Short video usually reaches further than photos. Video models need more structure than image models: who is in the shot, what she wears, where the camera is, and what happens second by second. Write that structure down, or use a tool that writes it for you, such as Prompt Atelier.

Post, read the numbers, adjust

Post on a schedule you can keep. After a month, look at which posts were saved and shared, not only liked, and make more of those.

Say in the bio that the character is AI. Platforms have rules about labelling AI content, and audiences respond better to honesty than to being fooled.
